Jack Rabbit One

I’d wanted a tattoo of a jack rabbit for a long time but I don’t have enough room left for a life sized one. Next best thing is a painting of one. I used a photograph, enlarged it with a projector and decided on colour as I worked. Shannon helped make technical decisions (”You should thicken up the outside line”) and took the picture.

What, no hunting rifle or shoe lases?
;) I saw the Juxta mag in the other photo.

I like him, C. Are you working on a frame?

    Looks awesome.

I think a simple dark frame would be best. Probably navy, like the outlines. And thanks. Posting here is quite daunting, truth be told!

Put a thick dark navy frame around that and it would so be on my wall Caitlin. :D

    Fantastic work.

I really like the background. It looks like a pond or water reflecting flowers or a nice sunset/sky. Great job!!

Very nice. It instantly reminded me of the book Watership Down.

Hey guys, I recently stumbled upon your blog. Some neat stuff. I’m more interested in reading the homesteading aspect of it. Can’t wait for more in depth posts on that, as I will be checking back. I just wanted to say I really enjoy this piece! Good luck on your endeavors.
