Guitar Hero
I finished the “Guitar Hero” painting today. It’s for sale… rent’s due so I’m feeling reasonable! You can’t see him super well in this picture, but I’m particularly thrilled with the lizard Lars Umlaut. The painting is done in a kind of duotone in lime green mixed with grays — other than the TV image and the guitar hero controller buttons of course.
PS. If you’re wondering he’s playing Cliffs of Dover…

kim – Yes, I have PayPal, and yes, I’d ship anywhere… I don’t actually know how much shipping costs but I’m likely shipping another similarly sized painting tomorrow so I’ll find out then what the ballpark shipping cost is.

hate guitar hero but love this painting. the use of colour is great. think this may be my favourite of all your paintings. if i wasnt a poor lowly art student i would buy one of your works.

wow, might you should sell it on ebay with the copy of GH 3
you would get alot of money for it.
someone sold GH 3 for 9,100 dollars on ebay because he caught his son smoking pot and decided to punish his son.

Bah. Sitting around watching people play guitar hero definately does not make for a good evening. No offense, the painting is lovely. It’s just that I’ve stopped visiting more than one friend because that’s all they ever do anymore. I come over, they sit in front of their T.V. with that danm game, and think they’re somehow entertaining me. It sucks.

I got this game right before Christmas, recently beat the Medium level, then tonight moved up to Hard. Holy helldamncrap it’s a big jump up, getting used to the orange button and all. I didn’t play v1 or v2 so I’ve been obsessed since I got it.

I’m surprised that this isn’t sold by now. But then again, i’m not experienced at all with prices for paintings. I pretty much only know what my girlfriend takes, but she hasn’t graduated yet, so..
The painting is simply beautiful. If it’s not too much of a bother, I would like to know the price aswell, even though it may have been sold. As I said, if it’s not much of a bother

I’m joining the bandwagon, asking for an email. I’m not going to join the bidding war on this peice (though I do think it’s great!), but I’d like to know what else you’ve got. I don’t know that I can afford to pay your rent, but maybe an upcoming bill.
