How do you get the exagerated raised texture on the painting? It is a plaster put on before or the actual paint?

I just use a lot of paint. Sometimes I mix gels into the paint to emphasize this, but I haven’t done that much lately… in this painting, it’s actually thinned down a little with retardant (a polymer designed to make the paint dry more slowly).

I really love Nefarious’s designs, she is so very tallented and then you make them fully come alive! Thats very kewl! Just wait till she is older, she is going to be a fantastic artist.

Charming! It looks very peaceful up in that tree, with nothing but fresh air all around … I wouldn’t mind spending some time up there myself.

I love this painting. It gives me such a sweet, melancholy feeling. Definitely one of my favourites.

*If* the dad-daughter collaboration pieces were for sale, and *if* I had some decent coin available for spending, this is what I’d buy. It’s so wideopen and lonely.

I really like the shadow the tree is making on the trunk.
I love this so much.

This is one of my favorites. It reminds me of le petit prince.

do you paint with a knife instead of brushes?

No, I paint with a brush…
